Truth Entertainment and its affiliates, Battle of Atlanta World Karate Championships, North Georgia Open, Scenic City Open, and Mississippi Showdown (“Affiliates”) (collectively, “Truth Entertainment”) is an event production company for people who train, compete and work in competitive sport martial arts. Truth Entertainment operates the https://www.thebattleofatlanta website (the “Site”). Truth Entertainment presents the information on the Site as a service to our customers and to other internet users. While the information on this site addresses a variety of issues, including sport martial arts training, competition, standings and related topics, the Site and Truth Entertainment do not provide specific professional advice in any of these or other areas.

Children

Truth Entertainment does not sell products and services for purchase by children. If you are under 18 years of age, you may not use the website without the involvement of a parent or guardian. Truth Entertainment only sells products and services to those who are 18 and older, and is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA sets forth rules and procedures that govern the way in which websites may collect, use and disclose personal information of children.

Return and Refund Policy

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process. The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. All sales for services rendered are considered final. There are no refunds, returns, or transfers of purchased services or goods except where applicable under the law. 

Ownership of intellectual Property, Copyrights, and Logos

When you purchase a product or service from Truth Entertainment, or any of its Affiliates, we collect information about you including (but not limited to) your name, your mailing address (including your country location). We may also collect your personal email address, a personal mailing address, and a mobile phone number. Customers may edit their profile at any time to change, add, or remove personal information.

 

We process your personal information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us, for the sale and delivery of products and services and to inform you of Truth Entertainment events, content, and other benefits or opportunities associated with Truth Entertainment. Truth Entertainment may also use this information to help Truth Entertainment and its Affiliates understand customers’ needs and interests to better tailor products and services to meet those needs.

 

We will not share your information with any third party outside of Truth Entertainment or its Affiliates other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to process a payment, create a profile or register for an event. We share aggregated demographic information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. Event Registration

Truth Entertainment and its Affiliates host many events throughout the year. To register for an event, an entrant is required to give contact information such as name, address, phone number, and e-mail address, as well as information about his/her martial arts abilities. We process this information about entrants and send it to meet management personnel so they can properly and accurately prepare entry lists and conduct the event. If you are a promoter, event director, official, judge, scorekeeper or otherwise working or volunteering at an affiliated event, we will collect information about you including your name, employer and contact information. We keep a record of your participation in martial arts related events as an attendee or volunteer or worker. This information may be used to provide you with membership and certification or to tell you about other events and publications. It may also be used to help Truth Entertainment and its Affiliates understand members’ needs and interests to better tailor products and services to meet those needs.

 

Newsletters

You may, upon occasion, receive electronic newsletters regarding Truth Entertainment event information, promotional notices, educational opportunities, etc. If you wish your email to be removed simply contact us via email at info@thebattleofatlanta.com or by phone at 770-372-4250.

 

Surveys

Purposes for Processing Your Data

As explained above, Truth Entertainment processes your data to provide you with the goods or services you have requested or purchased from us, including membership services, events, publications and other content, and training. We use this information to refine our goods and services to better tailor them to your needs and to communicate with you about other services Truth Entertainment offers. Most of the time, Truth Entertainment needs to process your personal data to fulfill an order for goods or services. Sometimes Truth Entertainment has a legitimate interest in processing data to better understand the needs, concerns, and interests of members and customers so Truth Entertainment can operate optimally as an association and as a business. And sometimes, Truth Entertainment relies upon your consent, in which case we will keep a record of it and honor your choices.

Purchases and Payment Information

You may choose to purchase goods or services from Truth Entertainment, or another entity through Truth Entertainment, using PayPal. We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and billing address) and purchase the goods or services using a valid PayPayl account. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, we'll use this information to contact you.

Typically, payment card information is provided directly by users, via the Site, into the PCI/DSS-compliant payment processing service to which Truth Entertainment subscribes such as PayPal, and Truth Entertainment does not, itself, process or store the card number.

Truth Entertainment uses a Wix site for its products and services. Wix can store your data in a number of locations. Your personal information may be stored in data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, South Korea, Taiwan and Israel.
